Josh Davis serves as the church planter and Lead Elder of Borderlands Family Baptist Church in El Paso, Texas. Having studied at Liberty University and completed a pastoral residency at Westlake Baptist Church in Moneta, Virginia—BFBC’s sending church—Josh relocated to West Texas with his wife, Patricia, and their three children in March 2026 to cultivate a faithful, Christ-centered local congregation.
In addition to planting BFBC, he serves as an associate pastor for the English-speaking congregation at their local sponsor church, Iglesia Jezreel Dios Siembra. Josh is passionate about scriptural sufficiency, verse-by-verse expository preaching, family-integrated worship, and intentional discipleship that equips believers to multiply healthy churches across the borderlands.
Outside of ministry, he enjoys spending time with his family, studying history, and reading.
